- How to maintain the bisht:
1- The proper folding process for the bisht must be observed.
2- When you finish wearing the bisht after use, it is preferable to hang it in the closet and store it in a cloth or plastic bag.
3- The bisht (cloak) is not washed or ironed except with steam.
4- Do not apply perfumes to the bisht because of their effect on the zari.
5- The bisht should not be exposed to strong light or sunlight for long hours.
6- It is preferable not to go out wearing the bisht on rainy days.
7- Avoid placing the bisht directly in contact with the wood without placing it in a plastic bag to avoid termites.
