How to preserve the bisht:
1- Proper folding of the bisht must be observed.
2- When wearing the bisht after use, it is preferable to hang it in the closet and keep it in a cloth or plastic bag.
3- The bisht cannot be washed or ironed except with steam.
4- Do not put perfume on the bisht, because of its effect on the zari.
5- The bisht should not be exposed to strong lighting or the sun for long hours.
6- It is preferable not to go out with a bisht on rainy days.
7- Avoid placing the bisht directly in contact with the wood without putting it in a plastic bag to avoid the floor.
