How to maintain the Bisht:
- The proper folding process of the Bisht must be observed.
- When you are finished wearing the Bisht after use, it is preferable to hang it in the closet and store it in a cloth bag.
- The Bisht cannot be washed or ironed except with steam.
- Do not put perfumes on the Bisht because they affect the zari. Use only incense.
